Over 1100 Cargo faithful show up to help celebrate NorCal Division Crown with 3-0 victory over San Juan SC
Stockton Cargo will host Western Conference Playoffs July 4th and 6th
Stockton– Over 1100 fans witnessed a first half brace from Alexis Pashales and saw Sam Tristan score her 4th of the season, as the Stockton Cargo celebrated their NorCal Division Crown in front of the hometown fans with a 3-0 Regular Season Finale over San Juan SC.
The Cargo got on the board early, as Taylor Curtis perfectly placed a corner kick to a waiting Alexis Pashales, as she slotted away a goal in the 6th minute to give the Cargo the 1-0 lead. Just minutes later, in the 10th minute, Pashales found herself in front of a loose ball in the goalkeeper’s box and doubled the lead to 2-0. Sam Tristan finished off the scoring in the 34th minute with her 4th goal of the season.
Goalkeeper Amanda Leal and the Cargo Defense kept things quite the rest of the game, as Leal and the Cargo recorded their 4th straight clean sheet. The Cargo Defense has not been scored on in 401 minutes.
With the win, the Cargo finish the USL W League Regular Season undefeated with a 10-0-2 record. Their 32 points set a new record for points collected in the USL W NorCal Division.
The Cargo now move onto the USL W Leage Playoffs Presented by VensureHR. Stockton will host the Western Conference Playoffs on Friday July 4th and Sunday July 6th. The Cargo’s First Round Playoff Match will be at 7pm on the 4th of July.
